Long before becoming the world's favourite dog breed, they were known as Tweed Water Spaniels in Scotland. Tough and fearless, they were loved for their working ethic. It was a single act of kindness that set the Labrador on course to greatness. A Captain saw his dog, a female Tweed, drop her stick in the water to save a child from drowning. He renamed her "Lucky" and went on to promote the new breed, changing its name to "Labrador". Beautiful, friendly, and extremely intelligent, the Labrador is not just a dog, but a symbol of loyalty, bravery, and love.
