I was a bit hesitant about purchasing this vest for my 2-year-old female springer spaniel, mainly because she's a high-energy dog who loves to swim and chase after ducks - I wasn't sure how well it would hold up when she gets tired or in danger.

After doing some research on other customers' experiences with these vests, I decided to trust the sizing instructions instead of following them. But as luck would have it, I ended up buying a "Large" size for my very medium-sized dog - and it was just right! The vest fits her snugly around the chest, providing good support and feeling secure.

The design is quite clever, with grab handles on top that make it easy to lift your dog out of the water when needed. I also appreciated the lightweight material, which Lilly quickly got used to. The Velcro and plastic clips seemed very secure too, so I didn't have any concerns about them coming undone in the water.

My dog's confidence increased significantly with this paddleboard, thanks to its clever design that accommodated her size and robust build. Our pup loves their new collar, even if it's a bit snug at times due to the sizing being slightly off. The material feels nice and soft against her skin, but the fit could be better with some adjustments for optimal comfort. Despite this, she still looks great in it and we're happy to see them enjoying their new accessory.
