I went with length measurement over chest girth because my greyhound, who has a deep chest, would be better suited to a longer fit that still covers his back comfortably. I've had good luck getting on and off the shirt without any issues, despite having fine fur on his chest that may require protection from the elements.

I'm happy with how this jumper fits, being very lightweight so it's perfect for indoor wear and suitable as an undercoat layer. My greyhound doesn't seem to mind wearing one at all - in fact, he seems quite fond of it. I've noticed that it keeps his neck warm without being too constricting.

I'm glad I chose back measurement over chest girth because my greyhound's anatomy may differ from others, and this way I've accommodated him properly.
