I was looking for a solution to keep my dog and new kitten separated but still allow them to make friends, which makes this product perfect. The gate's good quality construction has kept me satisfied - easy to install with either screws or sticky fixings is a big plus.

The latch on this product is easy to open one handed, making it convenient for daily use without any issues. I also appreciate the kitten-proofing features, like the ability to block her from squeezing between side bars (but not between gate bars). However, my main concern remains keeping the kitten contained - I'm happy with the product's effectiveness in this regard.

A great price point made this solution worth considering for our household.

I purchased this pet gate before and unfortunately it got through the cat door, rendering it useless. The new design is smaller than my previous one but has a similar size to some back doors, making it suitable for a narrow entryway. I've since secured it with a latch that's much easier to use than other gates, which works well despite getting stuck occasionally. My dog can no longer escape through the flap and can't get past the cat door either. The best feature of this gate is its ability to keep my dog from stealing food from my cats. I've also found it to be sturdy enough not to come off the frame if it's knocked over, a relief given my dog's penchant for knocking things out of place.
