As I've been a long-time cat owner, I've always been on the lookout for ways to make life easier for my feline friends. One of my biggest concerns has been finding an accessible litter tray that can accommodate my older or less agile cats. The Bartuke ramp was specifically designed with this in mind, offering a modest height perfect for kittens and infirm cats who might struggle to hop into a standard tray.

The step itself feels surprisingly sturdy, taking the cat's weight without bowing or slipping, making it a great option for cats that need extra support. Its ease of use is also impressive - just lift the lid, and you'll have easy access to cleaning out trapped litter or washing the unit with minimal fuss.

That being said, there are some drawbacks to this product. I did find the holes on the grate to be slightly small for fine, granular litter, which might make it less suitable for cats that prefer a finer texture. Additionally, while the ramp still functions well, it's not perfect and requires occasional cleaning of trapped litter.

My cat had been turning up his nose at the litter box for weeks, preferring to venture out into the elements rather than take care of business. But then this little step was introduced as a free gift with a purchase - and it's brought him back in line. It seems perfectly tailored to his needs, making it easy for him to climb into the litter box without any fuss.

The top is simply great at containing stray litter droppings, which can be an issue if you're trying to clean your cat's paws properly. And when it comes time to empty the litter, this little box step makes quick work of it.

I must admit, I was skeptical about using a device to help my cat into the litter box - but he's been thrilled with the results. The thing is, you'd never have thought of this as a solution for both getting him in and out of the box, or cleaning his paws. But here it is: it does exactly what I needed it to do.

It fits snugly against the entrance, so there's no slipping around trying to get into the box. And considering how useful it is, I'm glad I invested in one - even if it was a bit pricey.
